What is PawSupport?

PawSupport is Embrace’s exclusive pet telemed partner that gives you 24/7 access to Pet Pros for your pet health-related concerns – even on holidays.

Access to PawSupport is included in every Embrace policy at no additional charge.

PawSupport Pet Health Line is where you can ask for questions or concerns about your pet's health. The PawSupport is included in every Embrace policy at no additional charge and you can access at MyEmbrace.

What Can I Ask the Pet Pros at PawSupport?

The Pet Pros at PawSupport can provide decision support on topics including:

  • Emergencies

  • Managing Chronic Conditions

  • Medication Concerns

  • Diet

  • Poisons & Toxins

  • Vitamins & Supplements

  • Behavioral Changes

  • Possible Symptoms

  • Exercise

  • Holistic Care Options

  • Training

The Pet Pros help pet parents assess their pet's situation and offers guidance on when, where, and how to use pet healthcare resources appropriately.


How Do I Access PawSupport?

Access PawSupport via your MyEmbrace customer account online by selecting PawSupport under the Contact Us section (left side of page).

Pet Pros are available by:

  • Live Chat

  • Phone

  • Video Conference

To speak to a Pet Pro by phone, you must request a call via MyEmbrace. PawSupport cannot be reached directly, nor can our Customer Care Embracers transfer you.

Note: PawSupport is not currently supported in the Embrace Pet Insurance mobile app.


What Should I Expect If I Contact PawSupport?

PawSupport will begin by collecting:

  • Your pet's basic information

  • The reason for your call or chat

The Pet Pro will then help you make a decision for your pet's care through questions and by asking your observations.

Note: PawSupport staff does not have access to your pet's veterinary records, policy information, or claim data.


What is PawSupport Unable to do?

  • Diagnose a condition

  • Prescribe medications or treatment

  • Answer questions about your Embrace policy or claims


PawSupport is to be utilized for decision support or for a peace of mind. It is not a diagnosis and cannot be used in place of going to the vet.
