Alison Ukockis

Alison is a freelance writer as well as a certified veterinary technician with over 7 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her diverse experience in this field includes general practice, toxicology, specialty surgery, and, more recently, technical writing. Alison has held a passion for animal welfare and writing since she was a child; so much so that these passions were integrated into her career as an adult. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and reading with her black cat named Star.
