Background
Destino became suddenly lame after a jumping down from the couch one day. Afterwards he began to favor his left leg. His veterinarian performed a thorough exam and determined that Destino not only had a grade 3.5 out of 4 patellar luxation in his left knee but a grade 2 out of 4 patellar luxation in the right as well.
Surgical correction of Destino's left leg occurred first, then the right leg two years later. Destino is surely getting around much better after suffering from the genetic condition!
